My Mission and commitment are to provide resources and services that enable student success in life and work!

The ACS Work-Based Learning (WBL) program is a vibrant and vital part of the Auburn High School Career Technical Program that provides students with life skills and prepares them as a workforce in which business and industry are confident. Students who participate in the program have the opportunity to earn the National Career Readiness and Alabama Certified Worker designations as part of Alabama's FIRST HIGH SCHOOL WBL HONORS PROGRAM.  Core values stressed for program participants include:

Integrity First

Integrity is not simply telling the truth, it is a state of being and a desire to approach every situation with an honest, diligent, and open desire to carry forth the vision, mission, and goals of WBL and Career Technical Education.

Striving for Excellence

Excellence emerges when CTE professionals and students are guided by and accountable to the strategic plan and contribute to continuous improvement while maintaining core values.

Professionalism

As the work-based education coordinator, I understand that I am endowed with trusteeship over a program that contributes to the growth and prosperity of our community, and I am committed to providing our future workforce with experiences that will lead to student success.

Success Through Teamwork

Teamwork is key to success. I am committed to collaborating and cooperating with students, community stakeholders and professionals to form strong relationships that enhance the vision, mission, and goals leading to improved student achievement.
