CAREER DISCOVERY EXPO

On January 26 and 27, The East Alabama Workforce Investment Network, Inc. (EAWIN) is hosting the second annual Career Expo that will target over 4,000 eighth graders in Bullock, Chambers, Lee, Macon, Russell, Tallapoosa, Elmore, Lowndes, and Randolph counties. Eleven career clusters will point students toward opportunities in the area. Each student will receive an EAWIN Career discovery Student Guide, which will include information on sample occupations, educational requirements, average salaries and information on the event’s career clusters. The event will be held at Beard-Eaves Memorial Coliseum at Auburn University.

College & Career Night: On January 26 from 6–7:30 p.m., over 100 colleges, industries and businesses will be present for juniors and seniors in high school.
